Instructions
Step 1
For a less grainy butter, pour the sugar into a blender and blend on full power for 15 seconds.
Step 2
Beat together butter and sugar until light and creamy.
Step 3
Add the brandy/vanilla, cornflour and custard, and mix until fully combined.
Step 4
Spoon brandy butter into a serving dish or Tupperware container with a sealed lid, to prevent the butter picking up other smells in the fridge. Chill for 20 minutes before serving.
Step 5
Butter will keep for up to 1 month in the fridge.
