Instructions

Step 1
Mix together shortening & butter
Step 2
Add eggs. Mix well. Then add sour cream & vanilla. Mix well.
Step 3
In separate mixing bowl, mix the dry ingredients.
Step 4
Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients while mixing.
Step 5
Cover and refrigerate overnight or at least 1 hour.
Step 6
Return to room temperature.
Step 7
Preheat oven to 375
Step 8
Roll dough to approximately 1/4 inch thick and cut out cookie shapes. Place on parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 6-8 minutes. Cookies should be 1/2 inch thick after baking.
