Instructions
Step 1
Blend butter, white sugar and brown sugar until creamy.
Step 2
Add eggs slowly, one at a time
Step 3
Add vanilla, salt, and baking soda
Step 4
Mix well
Step 5
Softly mix in flour, by hand or softly with a large spoon. Mix as little as possible, even when adding chocolate
Step 6
Add chocolate
Step 7
Cover and place in fridge over night
Step 8
Roll into golf ball sized balls and press the 2 extra chopped Hershey bars into the tops and side of balls as well as some of the left-over chocolate chips.
Step 9
Bake on parchment paper at 325 degrees for 16-18 min, watching carefully after 15 min. Remove as soon as there is no wetness on top of cookies.
Step 10
Let rest on baking sheet for a few minutes.
Step 11
Remove and let cool on cooling racks.
