Instructions
Step 1
Season well on all sides with salt, pepper, and spices.
Step 2
(Optional but tasty) Sear in a hot skillet with a little oil, 3–4 min per side.
Step 3
Place roast in crockpot. Add broth and Worcestershire.
Step 4
Cover and cook:
Low for 8-9 hours (preferred)
High 5-6 hours
Step 5
When very tender, shred with two forks.
Step 6
Return meat to juices, stir, and keep on WARM until serving.
Step 7
Taste and add salt/pepper if needed.
Step 8
Tip: If there’s a lot of liquid, you can ladle some off or leave it juicy for self-serve.
