Instructions

Step 1
If you have time, soak the raw hazelnuts in hot water for 10–15 minutes, then drain. This makes the smoothie creamier and easier to blend.
Step 2
Add milk, cacao powder, sweetener, chia seeds, vanilla extract, desiccated coconut, and hazelnuts to a blender.
Step 3
Blend until smooth:

Start on low, then increase to high for 30–60 seconds, until creamy.
Step 5
Taste & adjust:

Add more sweetener if needed, or a splash of milk to thin it out.
Step 7
Serve immediately or let sit 5 minutes if you want the chia seeds to thicken it slightly.
