Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 425°F. Spread frozen hash browns in a baking dish and bake until golden and crispy.
Step 2
While they bake, brown the breakfast sausage. Drain and set aside.
Step 3
Whisk eggs with the heavy whipping cream. Soft scramble them in the same pan the sausage was cooked in, then season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Smush the hash browns down to form the crust.
Step 5
Layer with shredded cheese, sausage, another layer of cheese, then the soft scrambled eggs.
Step 6
Pour pancake batter evenly over the top and drizzle with syrup.
Step 7
Bake until the pancake layer is cooked through and golden brown.
Step 8
Let it rest a few minutes, slice, and serve with a hot cup of coffee.
