Instructions
Step 1
Set a medium frying pan to medium heat. Add the olive oil to pan. When oil is warm (but not too hot), add the thinly sliced garlic and cook. Swirl the pan or constantly stir for 2 to 2 ½ minutes or until the garlic just turns golden, NOT brown!
Step 2
Add the lemon peel strips and cook for another 30 seconds, stirring almost constantly. Remove from the heat and pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer reserving the oil in a bowl.
Step 3
Flip the garlic and lemon zest onto a plate and sprinkle flake sea salt.
