Instructions

Step 1
Prepare patty tins/gem irons. Cream the butter, add the sugar, blend in the golden syrup. Add the beaten egg. Add half the sifted dried ingredients, half the milk, using a metal spoon. Then add remaining dry ingredients, and the milk. Two-thirds fill each patty tin/gem iron.
