CAROLYNN MASON'S CHOCOLATE BROWNIE

4 steps
Prep:15minCook:20min
2010 - From my friend Carolynn. Easy to make, and delish. She makes it often, so it's a tried and true recipe. It's a really good one to make if you're making something for a cake stall or something, as it makes a big quantity.

Instructions

Step 1
Measure the oils, eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt into a bowl and beat well (I use wooden spoon).
OvenOvenPreheat
Step 2
Measure the flours and cocoa into a sifted over the bowl. Sift into the mixture and fold everything together evenly. Scrape mixture into greased tin which has been LINED WITH BAKING PAPER.
Step 3
POP A PIECE OF BAKING PAPER OVER TOP OF THE BROWNIE before popping it in the oven. Check after 20 minutes (if you want to have it for dessert with some ice cream) or 30 minutes (if you want to slice it for general eating). It is important to put the baking paper over the top, which will take longer to cook and the top may not cook and rise evenly.
Step 4
When it comes out of the oven leave it to stand with baking paper over the top until cool and then dust with icing sugar.
