I spotted this recipe in a book from the library I was reading to Ella so I saved the recipe. The book was 'Magical Moon Cat Book by Annie Dalton'. Not sure if need one or two tins to bake in. See how much mixture there is.

FOR THE CAKE:
100gself-raising flour
40gcocoa powder
1 ½ tBaking Powder
150gbutter
softened
150gsoft brown sugar
1 tvanilla essence
4 TMilk
3Eggs
large, Size 7
CHOCOLATE BUTTER CREAM FILLING:

Step 1
Preheat the oven. Grease and line a 27 x18cm rectangular tin. Sift the flour, cocoa and baking powder into a bowl. Put the sugar and softened butter into another bowl. Beat the butter and sugar until pale & fluffy. Mix in the vanilla and milk. Break in the eggs. Add the flour mixture, and mix until you have a smooth-textured mixture. Spoon into each tin and smooth tops with back of a spoon. Pop in oven. Cakes are ready when they are risen and springy. Leave in tins for 5 minutes. When the cakes are cool, spread the top of the cake with butter cream, and drizzle with the white chocolate.
