Instructions

Step 1
Place the stock, onion, carrot, celery, garlic, barley, rosemary, bav leaf and black pepper in a larae slow cooker. stir to combine. Place the chicken breast on top and cover the pot tightly. Cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 4-5 hours, or until the chicken is easily shredded and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
Step 2
Uncover. then use tonas to remove the bav leaf and place the chicken on a plate. Let cool slightlv, then use two forks to shred the meat. Return the chicken to the pot and add the parsley and iuice from 12 a lemon. stir and serve.
