Low-Sodium Chili with Ground Turkey

Ingredients

15mlolive oil
1onion
medium, diced
1kgground turkey
45 mLchili powder
30 mLgarlic powder
15 mLground cumin
15paprika
mL
30 mLchipotle no-salt seasoning
or any low/no-salt taco seasoning
cans no salt added diced tomatoes
1 x 15 ozcan no salt added red kidney beans
drained
1 x 15 ozcan no salt added black beans
drained
Shredded cheese
sour cream
green onions
Instructions
Step 1
Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until onion begins to soften, about 2 minutes.
Step 2
Add ground turkey and stir in spices. Cook until turkey is evenly browned, about 5 to 7 minutes.
Step 3
Stir in diced tomatoes and beans. Bring chili to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer.
Step 4
Simmer chili for 45 to 60 minutes. Serve with desired toppings.
