Instructions
Step 1
Pour the olive oil into the base of a cold tagine and arrange the chopped onions in an even layer.
Step 2
Place the lamb pieces on top of the onions, then season evenly with the cumin, paprika, and salt.
Step 3
Scatter the carrot rounds, drained chickpeas, and raisins around the seasoned lamb.
Step 4
Mix the honey into the chicken stock and pour the mixture into the tagine base.
Step 5
Secure the conical lid, place the tagine on the bottom rack of a cold oven, and set the temperature to 160°C.
Step 6
Bake undisturbed for 3 hours until the lamb is thoroughly cooked and tender.
