Instructions

Step 1
In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, gochujang, rice vinegar, and black pepper.
Step 2
​Place the sliced beef and onions in a large container or zip-top bag. Pour the marinade over the beef and mix well until evenly coated.
Step 3
​Cover and marinate overnight for the best flavor, or for at least 2–3 hours. If you're short on time, you can cook it right away, but marinating makes it even better.
Step 4
​Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
Step 5
​Add the marinated beef and onions. Cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally. The beef will release liquid at first. Continue cooking until most of the liquid evaporates and the beef is fully cooked.
Step 6
​Stir in the chopped green onions and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Step 7
​Serve over rice with a chili oil cucumber salad and enjoy!
