JP's Banana Gratin

In just a few minutes, bananas can be transformed into a delicious dessert gratin. I like to serve this dish with old-style whole-milk yogurt that has a layer of cream on top. I bake the gratins in individual gratin dishes, but you can use any small ovenproof dishes you have.

Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Step 2
Peel the bananas and slice them into a bowl. Combine with the rest of the ingredients except the yogurt.
Step 3
Divide among four small gratin dishes, about 4 inches across and 1 inch deep.
Step 4
Bake the gratins for 15 minutes.
Step 5
Serve warm or at room temperature, topped with the yogurt.
