Instructions

Step 1
1. Prep and Preheat Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. 2. Mix the Wet Base In a large bowl, mash the 4 bananas with a fork until mostly smooth. Whisk in the 1 large egg (or yolks) and the 2 tablespoons of melted fat until completely combined. 3. Blend in the Protein Stir the 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder into the wet banana mixture until smooth and free of dry clumps. 4. Add the Flour (The "No-Rubbery" Step) Pour the 1 cup of all-purpose flour into the bowl. Using a spoon or rubber spatula, gently fold the flour into the wet mix just until the flour streaks disappear. Do not over-mix or beat the dough, as this activates the gluten and creates a tough texture. Fold in the chocolate chips. 5. Scoop and Shape Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto your prepared baking sheet. Gently press down on the tops with the back of a spoon to shape them slightly, as these cookies will hold their shape and will not spread much while baking. 6. Bake and Cool Bake for 11 to 13 minutes. Check them early—the edges should be lightly golden, but the centers should still look slightly soft. Remove from the oven and let them cool on the hot baking pan for 5–10 minutes to finish setting without drying out.
