Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 degrees

Step 2
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar. Cut in butter until mixture is the texture of breadcrumbs.
Step 3
Add egg, milk, and fruit and mix until just moistened, avoiding over mixing. Dough should be medium-soft (add extra milk if necessary).
Step 4
Roll out dough on a floured surface to 1/2” thickness. Cut out shapes with a cookie cutter or drinking glass.
Step 5
Bake for approximately 10-12 minutes on a lightly greased baking sheet.
