Easter cookie bars

Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step 2
Spray a 9×13" pan with cooking spray or line with parchment paper. (Parchment paper makes it easier to lift the bars out)
Step 3
Mix butter and brown sugar with a stand or a hand mixer until crumbly. Mix in eggs and vanilla until smooth. Add in salt, baking powder, then flour and mix until just combined. Stir in M&Ms
Step 4
Spread in prepared pan. smooth the dough with your hands, the back of a measuring cup or a spatula. The dough will be like cookie dough so you’ll need to really press it down and spread it out in the dish.
Step 5
Bake for 22-25 minutes until they turn golden brown. Let cool and cut into bars.
