Ginger Immunity Shot (Zero Waste)

7 steps
Prep:10minCook:45min
This is not your everyday ginger shot! Using ginger peel and scraps only, (which most of the time is discarded), you can actually make this potent, nutrient dense immunity shot! In the tutorial video, I start out showing you how to peel ginger first with a metal spoon, then slice off hard to reach parts between the cracks. You can freeze the scraps and use it in cooking later or make the ginger shot. Drink it straight (if you’re brave because it’s intensely gingery and spicy), or add hot water and a little honey as a delicious ginger honey tea. You can also add equal part lemon juice, coconut water, and honey to taste as an immunity shot. Enjoy!
