potato cheddar soup
This potato cheddar soup couldn’t be more satisfying 🙌🏽 whether you want something warm to soothe a sore throat or just want to enjoy a hearty soup on a chilly day, this bowl of perfection will meet every expectation 🍜
Recipe ⬇️
4 strips of turkey bacon
2 tbsp avocado oil
1 yellow onion
2-3 tsp garlic mince
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup flour
1 boullion cube
1/2 tsp cayenne
5 cups water
1.5 cups cream
3-4 large cubed yellow potatos
1-1.5 cups cheddar cheese
Salt & pepper
Green onion

Instructions
Step 1
In a hot pot with oil fry up bacon then transfer to plate
Step 2
Cook onions, garlic in pot then add butter and flour cook for a few minutes on medium heat
Step 3
Add boullion cube, cayenne pepper, some water, half and half cream, then whisk
Step 4
Add in cubed potatoes and simmer for about 20 minutes until they’re nice and tender
Step 5
Turn off the heat, add cheddar cheese, salt and pepper and then it’s ready to serve
Step 6
Top with bacon, green onion and cheddar cheese
