Instructions
Step 1
Place all ingredients in bowl. Use hands to mix (don’t over mix as meat will become tough)
Step 2
Scoops out 1 cup of beef mixture, and roll into a ball using hands.
Step 3
Flatten into patties 1” rounds and create dimple in the centre of each patty with finger.
Step 4
Preheat smoker to 225 degrees.
Step 5
Place burgers on smoker for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until internal temperature reaches 135 degrees (which ever comes first).
Step 6
Remove burgers and increase smoker temperature to 400 degrees and sear burgers 2-3 minutes on each side.
