Ingredients

Orange Cardamon Snacking Cake
1 ½ cupsflour
1 ½ tspbaking powder
½ tspcardamon
½ tspsalt
½ cupbutter
softened
½ cupsugar
2eggs
room temperature
½ cuporange juice
freshly squeezed
2 tspvanilla
Orange Glaze
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F.
Step 2
Prepare a small cake pan. Line with parchment paper. Butter sides and dust with flour until coated. Dump out excess.
Step 3
Whisk together dry ingredients in small bowl. Set aside.
Step 4
In large bowl, beat together butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. About 3-4 minutes.
Step 5
Mix in eggs and vanilla.
Step 6
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Combine. Add orange juice and mix.
Step 7
Pour batter into prepared cake pan. Bake 27-34 minutes.
Step 8
Prepare glaze: whisk together all ingredients in small bowl.
Step 9
Once cool, remove cake from pan. Pour glaze over cake and let glaze harden.
