Step 1
Note: The ingredients below show all of the herb options you can choose from for this recipe. You should not use all of the ingredients - it should read:
- 1 tablespoon shallots OR 1 close of garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh thyme OR rosemary
- 1 tablespoon minced chives OR parsley
Step 2
In a bowl, mash together butter, shallots or garlic, herbs, lemon juice, pepper and salt
Step 3
Spoon the butter onto a piece of parchment paper or plastic wrap, form into a log and wrap well. Chill before before using, ideally several hours.
