Step 1
Soak the dry green peas over night
Step 2
Cook the soaked and drained peas in half cup of water. Add a dash of salt. Pressure cook in Instant pot for 6 minutes - keep warm should be off. Let it cool
Step 3
Heat 2 tsp of oil in a wide pan. Add cumin seeds. Once they splutter add ginger and green chilies. Sauté. Add onion and sauté for few minutes or until raw smell is gone
Step 4
Add peas to sautéed onions
Step 5
Add another half cup of water cook until everything starts to blend together. 6 Now add all the dry ingredients and adjust the salt as per your taste.
Step 6
Once the pan is of the heat add amchur powder and mix.
Step 7
Top with chopped cilantro and serve.
