Instructions

Step 1
Liberally butter the bottom and sides of a deep dish pie pan or equivalent.
Step 2
Heat butter, sugar, corn syrup, and evaporated milk in a heavy large sauce pan over medium low heat until all combined.
Step 3
Continue to heat, stirring continuously.
Step 4
After boiling for a while, test the sugar stage by dropping a small amount of the mixture into cold water. If it stays together and forms a soft ball when you squeeze it, it is done.
Step 5
Take the mixture off the heat and add marshmallow cream, peanut butter, and vanilla, mixing to combine after each ingredient.
Step 6
Continue to beat vigorously by hand until it starts to lose its shine a bit.
Step 7
Pour into prepared dish.
Step 8
Let it cool a bit, slice and enjoy.
