Simply put, beignets are square-shaped pieces of dough that are deep-fried and dusted with confectioners' sugar. They're finest served hot, with a cup of coffee or café au lait on the side!

Instructions

Step 1
Put the flour, white sugar, pinch salt, baking powder, vanilla extract, melted butter, large egg yolk and water in a bowl and mixed it well.
Step 2
In a bowl put the egg white and mix it until soft peaks form. Combine the first mixed.
Step 3
Once it is done get the Silicon egg-bite mold and put the cooking spray on it. Scoop the dough mixture and put it in the silicon egg-bite mold.
Step 4
Put it in Air Fryer Oven, Set the temperature and set the timer for 7 minutes.
Step 5
Get the beignets out and flip over onto a pan with parchment paper and put it back again in the air fryer oven. Set temperature at 370 and set the timer for 4 minutes.
Step 6
Once it is done put it on a plate and dust with some confectioners' sugar and serve.
