Instructions

Step 1
Mix the batter ingredients together (flour, 2 Tbsp sugar, 2 eggs, 250ml milk, pinch of salt and 1 Tbsp of Matcha powder) until you get a watery-like texture.

Wrap the bowl and place it in the fridge for at least 30 mins.
Step 3
While that's in the fridge, make your paste! Whisk 250ml heavy cream and 2 Tbsp sugar until you get a whipped-like texture. (This may take 5-7 minutes.)

Step 4
Take your batter out of the fridge. Then on low heat, butter up your pan then pour one scoop of batter and make sure to spread it out thinly and evenly.

Let the crepe cook for 1-2 minutes. Once you see tiny holes forming, flip the crepe and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
Step 6
Repeat until batter is all used up.
Step 7
Once the crepes have cooled down, apply cream between each layer and stack!
Step 8
Leave the matcha cake to cool down in the fridge for 1 hour. To finish off, sprinkle with matcha powder on top before slicing!
