Thin and crispy chocolate chip cookies

These chocolate chip cookies are buttery and crisp. I used some caramel and chocolate chips in half the cookies.

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Step 2
Line two baking sheets with parchment paper
Step 3
In medium bowl, whisk flour, baking soda and salt, set aside.
Step 4
On bowl of stand mixer fitted with paddle attachment. Beat butter and sugars on medium speed for 2 minutes, till light and fluffy, scraping bowl as needed.
Step 5
Add in vanilla and add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Beat in milk.
Step 6
On low speed, add the flour mixture a little at the time, beating till just combined
Step 7
Add chips, mix.
Step 8
Drop by small scoops onto prepared sheets two inches apart, (they spread) and bake one sheet at a time, turning halfway thru for 10 to 11 minutes.
Step 9
Cool 15 minutes.
