Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven at 400 degrees.
Step 2
Grease a large pan with butter.
Step 3
Trim most of the fat from the chops.
Step 4
Trim and slice the mushrooms stems. Set aside 6 - 10 caps.
Step 5
Dice the onion.
Step 6
Spread the onions and slices mushrooms in pan. Lay pork chops on top. Place the mushroom caps between the chops and put some butter in each cap.
Step 7
Pour the cider over the chops.
Step 8
Spread the cheese, bread crumbs, and dries savory over the chops.
Step 9
Salt and pepper to taste.
Step 10
Bake in oven for 45 minutes.
