Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line two baking sheets with parchment paper
Step 2
In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar together on medium until smooth.
Step 3
Beat in egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract
Step 4
In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, and salt
Step 5
Slowly pour the flour mixture into batter and mix until fully combined
Step 6
Scoop batter with a greased 1 1/2 tablespoon cookie scoop and place cookies 2" apart on a prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are very lightly browned. Allow to cool for 2-3 minutes before moving to a cooling rack. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
