Rice Porridge

Instructions

Step 1
1. Add chicken, whole garlic gloves, ginger, and salt to a large pot. Fill with water to cover the chicken + additional 5 inches of water.

2. Put on low heat, covered and simmer for 3-4 hours.

3. Shred chicken, remove bones
Step 4
4. Add ends of green onion, chicken bouillon, fish sauce, sugar to season. Add additional to season to taste.
Step 5
5. Once satisfied, add cooked jasmine rice. Allow rice to cook more in the broth.
Step 6
6. Add fried garlic.
Step 7
7. Simmer until satisfied with consistency of the porridge.
Step 8
1. Serve with garnishes: green onion, cilantro, garlic, lime, bean sprouts, chili oil, and soy bean
