Step 1
Add lemon juice to a liquid measuring cup. Fill the rest of the cup up to the 1 C mark with milk. Let rest at room temperature for at least 12 hours. It will look curdled but I assure you it is not. Skim off the top and it will be ready to go.

Cook breakfast sauce fully. Breaking into small pieces as you cook. Let rest on a paper towel to remove any excess grease.
Step 3
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, mix together cheese, veggies, sausage and buttermilk.
Step 5
Place baseball sized balls of dough onto a lined cookie sheet. Place balls about 1 inch apart.
Step 6
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
