Instructions
Step 1
Whisk to combine your brown butter, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, salt, and black seeds. Make sure the mixture is warm so that the yeast activates.
Step 2
Add in your flour and instant yeast. If kneading by hand, mix the dough with a wooden spoon until it comes together, and then oil your hands before kneading for about 12 minutes or until the dough is tacky to touch. If using a stand mixer with a hook attachment, knead for about 6 minutes. Cover and allow the dough to rest in a warm place for about an hour, or until it doubles in size.
Step 3
Remove your dough from the bowl and divide into 16 balls. Place the balls on a buttered pan (I used 2 large pans, but you’ll need 3-4 if using standard size) and press down on the balls to flatten. Cover and let it rest for another 30 minutes.
Step 4
While your dough is proofing, preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 5
Brush the dough with egg wash and top with more black seeds & sesame seeds.
Step 6
Bake in the middle rack for 15-18minutes until it’s nicely browned on top. Start checking your bread at the 12 minute mark to make sure it’s browning on top without burning.
Step 7
Enjoy right away with a cup of tea, or store in an airtight container.
