Instructions
Step 1
● Mince garlic and add it to a medium sauce pot with butter
Step 2
● Saute garlic for 1-2 mins over medium heat, or until the garlic begins to soften and becomes fragrant

● Add the rice to the pot and stir and cook for 2-3 mins to toast the rice
Step 4
● Carefully add the water and soy sauce and stir
Step 5
● Place a lid on the pot, turn the heat up to high, bring to a full boil
Step 6
● Once boiling, reduce heat to low and let simmer for 15 minutes
Step 7
● Turn off the heat and let rice rest for 5 minutes with lid on
Step 8
● Remove lid, and fluff the rice
Step 9
Top with diced green onion
