Instructions

Step 1
Cover dates with boiling water and let them sit for about 10 minutes.
Step 2
Shaking excess water off the dates, transfer to a food processor along with the cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut flour and salt.
Step 3
Blend on low until everything is completely mixed and blended together.
Step 4
Use a cookie scoop to form 1 Tablespoon sized balls and roll in the palm of your hand.
Step 5
*Optional toppins: shredded coconut, chopped nuts, sesame seeds, sprinkles. Note this will change the calorie content. To get the toppings to stick, you can immerse rolled date ball in the soaking liquid for a second. Shake off excess liquid and roll in toppings.
Step 6
**To store, place in sealed container in the fridge for up to one week. Freeze for longer storage.
