Strawberry daifuku & peanut mochi

14 steps
Prep:20minCook:3min
This is “the best mochi in the world”, according to my uncle. And it’s easy to make too. The mochi takes under 3 minutes in microwave and the strawberry is like a nice surprise when you bite into it. The peanut filled version is a common dim sum dessert that’s made of roasted ground peanuts and sugar. It’s a comfort food for me. This recipe makes 8 mochi balls.
