Instructions

Step 1
In a large skillet, put the olive oil, leeks, onion, garlic, sage, pepper and salt.
Step 2
Sauté everything over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, unti the onions become translucent.
Step 3
Meanwhile, to a medium-large sou pot, add the broth from the Carrot Ginger Soup, parsley, and ba leaf, and bring it all to a boil.
Step 4
Then add the sautéed onion mixtur
Step 5
Let everything simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 6
Strain the broth by pouring through a colander into another pot.
Step 7
Use immediately or freeze in batches.
