Ingredients

6 Tbspunsalted butter
2 cupsheavy whipping cream
1White Onion
Large, or Yellow, Chopped Finely
1.5 ozparmesan
shredded
3 ozsharp cheddar
shredded
3 ozwhite cheddar
shredded, or an additional 3 oz yellow cheddar
1 tspsalt
1 tspground black pepper
½ tspgarlic powder
10 CupsRadishes
Sliced
Bacon
Chopped, Optional
scallions
chopped, optional
Jalapeños
Sliced, Optional
Instructions
Step 1
Slice radishes and set aside.
Step 2
Melt Butter over low heat on stove.
Step 3
Add finely chopped onions and let cook for a few minutes.
Step 4
Add heavy whipping cream and let simmer for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 5
Slowly add all cheese, stirring as you slowly add, to ensure it melts into a smooth, creamy mixture.
Step 6
Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir.
Step 7
Remove from heat.
Step 8
Grease an 8 or 9 inch square baking pan.
Step 9
Layer with radishes to cover the bottom. If you are using additional ingredients like bacon or scallions, you would add them on top of the radishes. If you are using Jalapeños I recommend only adding them on one layer.
Step 10
Add some of the melted cheese mixture.
Step 11
Repeat steps 8 and 9 until you are out of radishes and melted cheese.
Step 12
Place in the oven at 350 degrees for an hour.
