Delicious cookies that are filled with dates some with coconut and some with walnuts or pecans. They are typically made during the month of Ramadan for Eid. I made some yesterday and You can find the video on my YouTube channel Emaninthekitchen the link is in the bio.......

——The dough——
-4 cups flour
-1/4 cup of sugar
-1 teaspoon salt
-1 teaspoon yeast
-1/2 cup melted butter(1 stick of unsalted butter)
-1/2 cup of oil
-1/2 cup warm water
-1/2 cup warm milk
——Mix the flour, sugar, salt, yeast, oil and butter first for one minute until crumbly then add the milk and water and mix for 5 minutes until you have a smooth dough then form it into 2 balls cover and let it rest for 20 minutes

——dates filling——
-1 package of date paste (microwave for 1 minute just to soften it up a little bit)
-1 tablespoon of oil
-1/4 cup of coconut

——coconut filling——
-1 cup of coconut
-1/4 of milk
-3 tablespoons of sugar and mix

——Walnut filling——
-1 cup of crushed walnuts
-3 tablespoons of sugar
-1 teaspoon cardamom and mix
:
make the klechas then brush them with egg and place it in the oven 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden and done ✅.
