⅓ cupgranulated sugar

⅓ cuplight brown sugar
firmly packed

3 tablespoonsflour

1 teaspooncinnamon

6tart apples
large, Granny Smith or Rome Beauty, pared, quartered, cored and sliced
Single pie crust

2 tablespoonbutter
or margarine

1 cupall-purpose flour
lightly spooned

½ cuplight brown sugar
firmly packed

1 teaspoonground cinnamon

½ cupbutter
or margarine
Instructions
Step 1
Combine sugar, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl, pressing out any lumps. Add sliced apples and toss well to mix. Fill crust with mixture. Dot top with 2 T. butter. Topping: Combine flour, brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Scatter topping thickly over apple filling. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until crust and topping are nicely browned.
