Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 200c /180c fan. Line a baking tray with baking paper
Step 2
Add flour, cayenne, baking powder, salt to a medium bowl and mix well
Step 3
Add butter, and rub in to make breadcrumbs. Stir through about 80% of the cheese
Step 4
Add milk a bit of a time (you may not need all, or a little more) draw together into a firm dough.
Step 5
Divide dough into 6.. either using a cutter, or roll a tube and divide evenly into 6 rounds. Place on baking tray, spread out, paint a little milk on the scones and add the reserved cheese
Step 6
Bake in the oven for 15 to 17 mins
