VEGAN IRAQI CAULIFLOWER T’BEET!!!🌱

Recipe:
Ingredients-
1 cauliflower, cut to quarters
2 cups of basmati rice
1 sweet onion, cut to slices
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1/2 teaspoon of smoked sea salt
Red sauce-
1.5 teaspoons of smoked sea salt
1 teaspoon of Baharat spice
1 teaspoon of sumac
1/2 teaspoon of cumin
1 teaspoon of paprika
1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper
3 tablespoons of tomato paste
4 minced garlic cloves
1/4 cup of olive oil
1 tablespoon of date syrup
4 cups of boiled water
Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Method-
Preheat the oven to 400F.
In an oven safe pan drizzle olive oil and place the cauliflower and onions.
Pour the rice evenly in between the cauliflower pieces.
Pour the sauce gently over the rice and cauliflower.
Cover the pan with wet parchment paper and cover with aluminum foil on top of it.
Bake it in a preheated oven on 400F for 1 hour.
Remove the parchment paper and aluminum foil.
Transfer to the broil for 5-7 minutes to get a golden brown color.

Ingredients
6 servings

1cauliflower
cut to quarters

2 cupsbasmati rice

1sweet onion
cut to slices

2 tablespoonsolive oil

½ teaspoonsmoked sea salt
Red sauce
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400F.

Step 2
Boil water for sauce.

Step 3
Put all the red sauce spices in a bowl, except for water, and mix well. Add water just before ready to pour in the pan.











Step 4
In an oven safe pan drizzle olive oil and place the cauliflower and onions. Sprinkle with sea salt.




Step 5
Pour the rice evenly in between the cauliflower pieces.

Step 6
Pour the sauce gently over the rice and cauliflower.
Step 7
