Copycat Publix Sugar Cookies

Every time I was sad in high school, I’d pick up a pack of Publix sugar cookies on the way home. In NYC, I can’t do that because we don’t have Publix. So, I made my own, and they are delicious.

Mix melted butter and sugar

Once cool to the touch, add in egg

Mix in dry ingredients

Preheat the oven to 350 and, while preheating, chill the dough in the fridge

Step 5
Once preheated, roll the dough into balls, roll in the sprinkles, and bake at 350 for 13 minutes for larger cookies and 11 minutes for smaller cookies
