The Best Snickerdoodle Cookie Recipe

The only problem i had was that i had to add more flour than they said to add, because the batter wasn't thick enough to be cookie dough even after refrigeration, but once i added enough flour to get my desired consistency, i baked it and it came out AMAZING. It was my first time baking, EVERYONE LOVED it and they were SUPER impressed. 🥰 I got more than 30 cookies out of the batter 🥰 (i was only supposed to get 24 👀❤️

I've never made snicker doodles before! I'm using the cookies as a crust for a snicker doodle cheesecake, which I've also never made before. The cookies are soft and not too sweet. My son doesn't want to share them, so I'll take that as a thumbs-up!!

Could have used a bit more cinnamon sugar but it was overall great!

Make sure to use unsalted butter or cut the salt. Mine came out a tad salty.

Delicious! My eggs and butter were room temp and I mixed the dry ingredients together before adding to the wets. I scooped out 2-tbsp balls and baked for 15 minutes. They came out pillowy soft with a delicate, buttery, sweet flavor.

Oh my gosh!!! It was so good! My friends and family loved it and they were gone by the end of the day

This recipe has the most uninformative instructions ever on @Whisk.com or the app turned out like stones dough did not come together by far the worst snickerdoodle recipe I have ever attempted.

Definitely Recommend chilling the dough! Tasted amazing!!

I didn’t have any cream of tarter but I put in 1 1/2 tsp of vinegar instead and they turned out perfect!

I'm a huge fan of snickerdoodle cookies, and this is the best recipe. It's an easy recipe to follow with clear instructions. I recommend eating these within a few days because after about the 4th day they get stale.

Used half white and half brown sugar, and added a little almond extract. 😋 LOVE!! These are quick and easy, and super good!

These were very yummy and stayed super soft for a week. Maybe even longer. I put them in tins so that was a factor. Will make again!

I might have messed something up, but the flavour wasn't too exciting. They were okay, but not a favourite for sure.

Large 3 inch cookies using a heaping large cookie scoop. 1st pan 13 mins. 2nd pan 11. Think I should have pressed them flatter It is a soft contrast to our crisp peppernuts but if I do it again smaller. Too sweet to be my favorite. 12-14-2021

The name is no lie: These are literally THE BEST SNICKERDOODLE COOKIES EVER!!! I will not eat any other SNICKERDOODLE again. Treat yourself by making these!! UPDATE: I recently moved and the new place uses a gas range. I made these and while they were still very yummy, they weren't the buttery, sweet goodness like before. It was a disappointment for me but definitely still the best recipe I've found so far.
