Frosting
Instructions
Step 1
Mix together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 2
Add in the egg, sour cream, vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
Step 3
Slowly add in the dry ingredients until the dough is formed.
Step 4
Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Step 5
Scoop the dough using a cookie scoop onto parchment paper and lightly press down until slightly flattened.
Step 6
Bake at 350 degrees for 9-12 minutes.
Frosting
Step 7
Add softened butter to a bowl with a dash of vanilla and a dash of milk and mix.
Step 8
Slowly add the powdered sugar until the frosting is thickened to the desired consistency. Add powdered sugar or milk as needed.
Step 9
Optional: Add desired food coloring for colored frosting. Top cookies with choice of sprinkles.
