Super Moist French Apple Cake More Apples than Dough 🇫🇷 Gâteau aux pommes

Really good. Didn't have a pan the right shape but these two Loaf pans worked in a pinch. The glaze will make extra so if you double the cake recipe but leave the glaze recipe maybe you'll use it all.

Pretty good - tastes even better the next day. Can eat cold. I used 4 apples thinking it looked like enough, could've used one more. Whipped sugar & eggs too much trying to get lighter colour. My batter seemed more dry than the recipe's. Did 25 mins 350 then 10 mins after glaze.

75g sugar = 90ml 25g butter = bit less than 2 Tbsp 125g flour = 1 cup

The temperature I had to try if you start at 375 and 40 minutes at high altitude it should set up. Also the list is in metric so 1/3 cup sugar, 12 Tbsp of Butter, 3/4 cup flour for the dough. Glaze is 2 Tbsp butter, 1/3 cup sugar. Mix to your consistency. Add more liquid if you need it more fluid or less dry ingredients. Have fun and try different apples we used Granny Smith.

This Apple cake was delicious. First time I made it. Is was nice and moist and crispy on top. Will definitely make it again.
