Instructions

Step 1
Prep your shrimp by cleaning and removing the shells. I like to keep the tails on for aesthetic purposes, but you can remove the tails as well.
Step 2
Add salt and pepper to the shrimp, then cook for a minute on each side. Pay attention to the cooking time! The shrimp will finish cooking in the cream sauce, and we do not want to overcook them.
Step 3
Remove the shrimp from the pan, then add butter and minced garlic.
Step 4
Once the garlic is cooked through, add in the white wine. Then add in the heavy cream.
Step 5
Next, slowly whisk in the parmesan, and add the white pepper and any additional salt to taste.
Step 6
Return shrimp to the pan for an additional 4 minutes.
Step 7
Sprinkle on parsley and red pepper flakes.
