Instructions
Step 1
Wash and slice strawberries, making sure to remove the hulls and green tops.
Step 2
Pour sugar into a heated saucepan. Add in strawberries and mash to desired consistency while cooking over medium heat.
Step 3
Stir in lemon juice and continue to heat until thickened.
Step 4
Pour jam into prepped jars and allow to cool prior to refrigeration.
Step 5
Refrigerate and use quickly if you do not plan on following canning procedures.
