Instructions
Step 1
Boil potatoes and onion together with just enough water to cover it all until potatoes are fork tender. Do not drain
Step 2
Brown hot sausage then set aside
Step 3
Melt butter in pan, add flour and mix together until mushy
Step 4
SLOWLY add milk, DO NOT GO TOO QUICK and stir constantly until the butter/flour mix is completely dissolved
Step 5
Add milk mixture/sausage to potatoes and onion.
Step 6
Add whipping cream, cheese, salt and pepper to taste. If too liquidy, mash the potatoes down and stir to thicken
