Step 1
Cut off the tops of each garlic head and drizzle with olive oil before wrapping it up in aluminum foil
Step 2
Roast the garlic at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour
Step 3
Combine the softened butter with the basil, salt, and crushed red pepper. Once the garlic is done, squeeze the roasted garlic into the butter and mix until smooth.
Step 4
Cut the baguette in half horizontally and again, once vertically—to get four large pieces of bread. Brush the inside with the mixed butter
Step 5
Put bread back into oven for 15 minutes until golden.
